The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) was unchanged in
September on a seasonally adjusted basis after rising 0.1 percent in August,
the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months,
the all items index increased 1.7 percent before seasonal adjustment.

Increases in the indexes for shelter and food were offset by declines in the
indexes for energy and used cars and trucks to result in the seasonally
adjusted all items index being flat. The energy index fell 1.4 percent as the
gasoline index declined 2.4 percent. The food index increased 0.1 percent in
September after being unchanged in each of the prior 3 months.

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.1 percent
in August on a seasonally adjusted basis after rising 0.3 percent in July, the
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months, the
all items index increased 1.7 percent before seasonal adjustment.

Increases in the indexes for shelter and medical care were the major factors in
the seasonally adjusted all items monthly increase, outweighing a decline in the
energy index. The energy index fell 1.9 percent in August as the gasoline index
declined 3.5 percent. The food index was unchanged for the third month in a row.

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.1 percent
in June on a seasonally adjusted basis, the same increase as in May, the U.S.
Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months, the all
items index increased 1.6 percent before seasonal adjustment.

Increases in the indexes for shelter, apparel, and used cars and trucks more
than offset declines in energy indexes to result in the seasonally adjusted all
items monthly increase in June. The energy index fell 2.3 percent as all of the
major energy component indexes declined. The food index was unchanged as the
index for food away from home rose but the index for food at home declined.

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) declined 0.1 percent in December on a seasonally adjusted basis after being unchanged in November, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 1.9 percent before seasonal adjustment.

The seasonally adjusted decline in the all items index was caused by a sharp
decrease in the gasoline index, which fell 7.5 percent in December. This
decline more than offset increases in several indexes including shelter, food,
and other energy components. The energy index fell 3.5 percent, as the gasoline
and fuel oil indexes fell, but the indexes for natural gas and for electricity
increased. The food index increased 0.4 percent in December.

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) was unchanged in
November on a seasonally adjusted basis after rising 0.3 percent in October, the
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Over the last 12 months, the all
items index increased 2.2 percent before seasonal adjustment.The gasoline index declined 4.2 percent in November, offsetting increases in an
array of indexes including shelter and used cars and trucks. Other major energy
component indexes were mixed, with the index for fuel oil falling but the
indexes for electricity and natural gas rising. The food index rose in November,
with the indexes for food at home and food away from home both increasing.
