The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ May Payroll Survey reported a seasonally adjusted gain of 75,000 jobs, 90,000 in the private sector. Prior month revisions: April total jobs growth was revised down by 39,000 from a gain of 263,000 to a gain of 224,000 . March growth was revised down by 36,000 from a gain of 189,000 to a gain of 153,000 .
