The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ December Payroll Survey reported a seasonally adjusted gain of 252,000 jobs, 240,000 in the private sector.
Prior month revisions: November total jobs growth was revised up by 32,000 from a gain of 321,000 to a gain of 353,000 .
October growth was revised up by 18,000 from a gain of 243,000 to a gain of 261,000 .
