The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ November Payroll Survey reported a seasonally adjusted gain of 228,000 jobs, 221,000 in the private sector. Prior month revisions: October total jobs growth was revised down by 17,000 from a gain of 261,000 to a gain of 244,000 . September growth was revised up by 20,000 from a gain of 18,000 to a gain of 38,000 .
