The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ June Payroll Survey reported a seasonally adjusted gain of 222,000 jobs, 187,000 in the private sector. Prior month revisions: May total jobs growth was revised up by 14,000 from a gain of 138,000 to a gain of 152,000 . April growth was revised up by 33,000 from a gain of 174,000 to a gain of 207,000 .
