The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ July Payroll Survey reported a seasonally adjusted gain of 215,000 jobs, 210,000 in the private sector. Prior month revisions: June total jobs growth was revised up , but not significantly, from a gain of 223,000 to a gain of 231,000 . May growth was revised up , but not significantly, from a gain of 254,000 to a gain of 260,000 .
