The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ April Payroll Survey reported a seasonally adjusted gain of -20500,000 jobs, -19520,000 in the private sector. Prior month revisions: March total jobs fall was revised down by 169,000 from a fall of 701,000 to a fall of 870,000 . February growth was revised down by 45,000 from a gain of 275,000 to a gain of 230,000 .
