The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ March Payroll Survey reported a seasonally adjusted gain of 196,000 jobs, 182,000 in the private sector. Prior month revisions: February total jobs growth was revised up by 13,000 from a gain of 20,000 to a gain of 33,000 . January growth was revised up , but not significantly, from a gain of 311,000 to a gain of 312,000 .
